If 5 cameras are free, are adding 2 more cameras $ 2.99 each per month? We need all 7 cameras on one base.

FWIW, the free cloud storage only applies to older cameras like the Pro and Pro 2. It doesn't apply to newer cameras (Pro 3/Pro 3/Ultra/Ultra 2/Essential).
But if you have 5 Pro or Pro 2 cameras now, addding two more would cost $2.99 in the US.
You could also cover them all with a multiple camera Arlo Secure subscriptin ($9.99/month). That would give you 30 days of retention for all cameras, plus cloud activity zones if you need/want them.

The 5-camera limit is for the account, not the base.
Newer cameras might not be compatible with your base - you can check that here:
