It may be a bit deformed. You can try wiggling it into place to see if you can get it to stay or swap at the store.

Is it in cold temperature? If so warm it up. If not just wiggle it around and keep pushing. I find The tab that holds it on needs to be pushed in a little bebore the cover. Good luck
