I have existing 5 cameras on my Arlo pro 2 hub. Can I add more cameras and how many I can?

You are at the limit for the free 7-day cloud storage, so you'd need a subscription for more cameras.
Not sure what the actual ceiling is, but you can certainly add more cameras. However, the hub can only stream 5 videos simultaneously. You likely will get better performance if you use multiple hubs (especially if your cameras are spread out).
Though the newer cameras (Pro 4, Essential) also let you connect the camera directly to your home wifi. So that is another way to avoid the 5-stream limit of the base.

I currently run 12 cameras on a Pro2 base ( 4000 / Arlo, pro, & Pro2 ) ... it works fine but as mentioned the max number streaming at same time is 5.
A second base unit allows more to operate at one time and give the option of two schedules if the cameras are broken up into groups like indoor/outdoor, front/ back yard.
Downside is the bases need to be armed separately ( if not using the arm all devices button )
