How to keep starred videos from being automatically deleted?

Hello, I was wondering if adding a local hard drive attached to the base station will keep favorited videos longer than the 30 days allotted to users that have that plan. Let’s say if I have a 2 TB hard drive attached and go through my videos daily and star important ones, will I be able to keep starred videos older than 30 days assuming I have less than 2 TB worth of videos?

Starred vids are not locked, they just mean favorite....

you basically have two choices;

1) down load them to a local device

2) with a Pro or Pro2 base use a usb device with a good amount of storage... the vids go to the cloud and the backup device at the same time... I run a 32 Gb speed stick and it really is plenty, they stay untill  its filled
