Hello.

What do you recommend to avoid Arlo system being "killed" by:

-Power shutdown
-Internet Shutdown

I was disappointed that a battery was not included in the base station in case of power shutdown and that there is no possibility to install a data Sim card for internet in case of cabled LAN goes down.

Any suggestion for a solution?

As do many on this site ( esp if the base is remotely located ), the easy answer is to use a UPS...

I run one on my base , router and modem... it will keep them up for a good number of hours to solve most power outages

But more important is keeping the base up if you running a USB speed stick for backup memory.

Ok and thanks for the info. Which model do you use? I think I will buy something like that as well:

power to keep both base and router powered.

Buy a brand named  model... base it on how long you may need it to run.

Obv, bigger is more $

FWIW, I use a 750VA UPS (~$100) and I believe Tom uses a 1000VA model. Either will last hours with Tom's running longer.
