Hello, nice to meet the comunity.

I have some questions and your help will be great help for me.

How many Arlo Pro 2 cameras can I add to a base station? For example, the model VMS4430P has 4 cameras Arlo Pro 2. Can I add 2 more cameras ?. How much is the limit of cameras that I can add for this model? Or do I have to change the model to support at least 6 cameras?
Thank you very much.

I believe the limit is 15 cameras for each base station, although only 5 can stream video at one time. You can mix and match any of the original Wire Free HD, Pro and Pro 2 cameras with any base.

Thanks Brian for your quick answer.

My idea is to buy 6 cameras Arlo Pro 2 because i need to cover 6 spaces at my home. Which is the reason why only 5 can stream video at one time?. Does exist any other base station model or service plan that i could to buy for increase   the number of cameras that transmit at one time?. Or is a hardware limitation that Arlo has in all base stations?.

Thanks in advance.

Arlo Pro 2 model cameras are designed to respond to motion or sound events. When you are live streaming the video, you will not be recoreding any video. Check into Arlo;s subscription plan for 24/7 CVR.

Also with 6 cameras you will need to upgrade your subscription plan unless you use two base stations on different accounts.

The reason for only being able to stream 5 cameras from one base isn't known but I suppose it's a hardware limitation.
