I have not installed the cameras yet, but I have three that will all be outdoors. Where I live, -4*F is not uncommon. How do the cameras function when temps drop below -4*F? In the winter here, it will definitely drop below that. Should I take them in when there will be extreme cold?

At some point they will shut down. You shouldn't need to take them inside though of course it doesn't hurt.
Some folks have found that they work at lower temps if you remove the battery and just use AC power. That of course does require use of an appropriate outdoor charger (and the associated wiring hassle).
