How do I turn sound on my arlo pro 2 cameras?

I have the audio set to "on" and volumn up on my Iphone settings but when I look at my devices the sound icon is greyed out. How do I make the sound work on my cameras?

The sound icon being grayed out simply means that audio DETECTION is disabled in your modes and rules. As long as the camera setttings have the audio on, you should have sound in your recordings.
