I have been trying to set a schedule for my camera at work that goes off during work hours and on the rest of the time.  The new app is confusing me.

Is this the only camera in the account?  Or do you have other cameras at home?

Do you want those cameras enabled 24x7?  Or do you want a different schedule for them?

I want the ones at home to run always but the one at work with its own tower to stop during business hours and run during off hours but I dont want to have to manually do it every day I go to work.

Ok.

You have two approaches.

One is to create two locations - "home" and "work".  Then put the work cameras (and base) in the work location.  Once you've done this, you will have three independent modes (Arm Away, Arm Home, and Standby) for each location.  This gives you the most control options, but there is one disadvantage.  You won't be able to see all the cameras (or the feed from all cameras) at the same time in the app.  You have to select "home" to see the home cameras, and "work" to see the the work cameras.

If you use this approach, you can set up one automation to switch the work location to "Arm Home" at the time you normally leave, and set up a second automation to switch to "Standby" at the time you normally arrive.  You can also set this up so that the schedule is disabled when you manually put that location into "Arm Away".  This makes it easy to handle holidays or vacations when the work location isn't open.

The second way is to stick with one location.  You can then customize "Arm Home" so that it only arms your home cameras.  "Arm Away" would arm all cameras in both locations, and "Standby" would disarm all cameras.  With this approach, you set up one automation that switches to "Arm Away" at the time you leave work, and another that switches to "Arm Home" at the time you normally arrive at work.  You'd have to manually disable the schedule to handle holidays or vacations.

If you need more help, just post back and also tell us which approach works best for you.
