How To Shut Off Motion Detection

Motion detectors constantly setting off iPhone even one set on 1% is there anyway to shut off motion detection sensor completely and just use camera mode

Go the modes section and edit the rule for each camera and where you have a choice to either record video or do nothing, select Do nothing.

But that defeats the purpose of owning the camera system. Have you tried to either reposition the camera/cameras or ?have you tried to set the cameras to the Disarmed mode when you are not using them. Maybe use a schedule?

We just want to monitor our dogs when we’re not at home, and they move around a lot, and don’t want the motion alerts going off every few minutes.

Don’t need to record them either.

You can shut off motion detection by setting the camera mode to “disarmed”.

 

unfortunately the latest version of the Arlo app for iPad does not work with “live view” (the new App 2.6.1 sucks.   it was a “downgrade”), so you will need to use another device to watch the dogs.
