Hello,

My Arlo Base Station VMB4000R3 is unable to complete the HomeKit setup.

My Arlo Pro 2 is correctly paired with the VMB4000R3 and works normally in the Arlo app.

When I go to the HomeKit settings in the Arlo app, the setup gets stuck indefinitely on “Discovering your device. Please wait.”

Troubleshooting already completed:

  • Base Station rebooted
  • iPhone rebooted
  • iPhone and Base Station are on the same local network
  • Local Network and Home Data permissions are enabled for the Arlo app
  • Base Station firmware is up to date
  • The VMB4000R3 is not currently present under Hubs & Bridges in Apple Home

I have seen several reports on the Arlo Community where this exact issue with the VMB4000R3 was resolved by an Arlo moderator sending a HomeKit token reset to the Base Station.

Could an Arlo moderator please send a HomeKit token reset request to the VMB4000R3 associated with my account?

Thank you.
Alexis
