Having to pay a fee to use Arlo Pro 2 cameras...Cost per camera?

How do we find out the cost for using our cameras? Sounds like Arlo  is screwing over their longtime loyal customers.

Many will probably leave Arlo for Ring, Nest, Vivint, etc.  ...I know I will.  Vivint has a better security system with their cameras.  Arlo Screwed the pooch on this.

I haven't heard of Vivint, I'll have to check them out. I'm trying to figure out what to replace mine with. I looked into it when Arlo dropped the video quality a while ago, but haven't kept up with it. Thanks!
