Grant access does not work vmb4000 arlo pro 2

Trying to send an invitation to grant access. the links is coming through, clicking the link, but when trying to create account, its says email not valid.

Have tried several emails, Pc, iPhone and Android.

After alot of tries, i finally manage to register a new user, and then login to arlo using the invite link in the email.

I mean, wtf is this?

Do you need to register a user, before you can click the link in the email?
