Getting pop-up constantly to request access to my phone for push notifications

When I log into the Arlo app on my cell phone I get a pop-up to request access to my phone for push notifications. I have to x this window out constantly. I have turned off the permission on my cell phone. Yet it continues to pop up. How do I stop this?

Why not click OK and then disable it in the phone settings for the app?
