I am extremely disappointed with Arlo and how they have handle existing customers who are loyal to their product. One of my many cameras needed a charge. Since it is located near a Soviet in my home it took awhile before I could get to it to recharge the battery. However once charged it would not automatically reconnect so I removed and attempted to re-add to the system. Needless to say it did not work so I called Customer Service. I was told in so many words they no longer support pro 2 cameras and they were considered end of life. Who came up with that in a meeting?  Arlo support attempted to see me new cameras at a discounted price.

Now, instead of supporting the products I already own, Arlo’s solution is to sell me a new cameras. One of the main reasons I chose Arlo in the first place was that I did not need a subscription to use core features. That value proposition is now gone.

This feels like forced obsolescence. I invested in Arlo hardware in good faith, only to have functionality removed through a software update and replaced with pressure to buy new products and ongoing subscriptions. That’s not customer-focused, and it’s not how loyal users should be treated.

I can no longer recommend Arlo to anyone looking for a reliable, long-term security solution. If you’re considering Arlo, be aware that features you rely on today may be taken away tomorrow unless you’re willing to keep paying more.

Im upset and disappointed.

Legacy cameras, although officially EOL, are still usable - there's just no more updates nor official support for them. The community, with the mods ( @JamesC , @ShayneS and @BrookeN ) are still providing support while acknowledging the above.

What exactly have you tried? What do you see? Have you tried the non-app method of pairing (briefly press the base sync button (don't hold it) and then the camera button)? Have you power-cycled your base?
