Does anyone know how to stop the camera lenses frosting up on cold nights?

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to stop the camera lenses frosting up on cold night's? Makes viewing footage very Hard.

Also I have an old stone cottage and have Wi-Fi range issues. Anyone got a cheap alternative to fix instead of a $300 power line adaptor?

Frost on the lens can be a tough nut to crack. It can be the angle at which you have the camera pointing - try rotating it down some. I don't know if anything like Rain-X helps for something like this but might be useful. A more protected position for the camera may be needed.

Moving the base closer/more centrally to the cameras is the usual solution. You could also add a second base for cameras that have weak signals. Dunno where you're seeing $300 for a powerline extender - a quick search got me a TP-Link one for $50. Use of any extender that has an Ethernet port to allow repositioning of the base would help you move the base.
