Does The Arlo Pro Base Work With The Pro 2?

I have a base for an Arlo Pro and I was wondering if I could use that base with a Pro 2 camera. If so will it still have 1080P video quality or will I have to get a new base?

The bases are interchangeable with no loss of anything other than what's physically on the base (the Pro base has a siren and usable USB ports).
