I made a custom view for only one camera to record on motion with push notification. When armed this custom mode alerts (with push notifications) whenever any user does a live view of that camera. No recordings though! Perhaps a bug in the iOS app.

Have you tried rebooting the base station or removing the camera from Settings > My devices > Re-Add and test again?
