I saw somebody in Baidu give some explanation ,but I can not get reach to him after sale guy by send him a connection request(his QQ account 1203440535)

I have VPN, but do not know how to make it work for arlo

You'd need a VPN installed on your router (terminating at a server in another country).

My friend could help to figure that out ,but he wonders the real visual effect of that. Could you share some experience with me?

I don't understand what you are asking. 

 

The VPN would make it look your your Arlo system (and all your other devices) are in another country.  

 

One problem with doing that - I believe VPNs are banned in mainland China.

As you say, Gmail system is banned in main land, and I could receive your message from Gmail , which means I am just using VPN. 
 
I will take a try later ,and consult you during the process .
