Can you connect a camera without a battery (with a power adapter) to a smart plug to control and turn off the camera?

Prob not via the powered outlet... as if the camera is powered off to long it may loose sync.
just either use disarm( in mode ) or device on/off ( in camera settings )

The camera did not go off with the smart plug as you said, have now tried to switch off the base station instead, seems to work do you have any views on it? How long can the base station be turned off without dropping the sink? If it works then it is a good solution for me! Must thank you for a very good support.
