I have arlo pro and pro 2 and would like cast a camera to my Roku TV but I can't figure it out. We have one camera out back and we'd like to watch the ducks in the pond on our tv

You can't do that directly.
To cast to a Roku, ensure your phone/computer and Roku are on the same Wi-Fi network. Use apps like YouTube or Netflix and tap the cast icon, or use screen mirroring (AirPlay for Apple, Smart View/Cast for Android/Windows) to display your device screen. Enable screen mirroring in Settings > System > Screen Mirroring on your Roku.
