I have the four camera Arlo Pro 2 system. To complete the system I bought a 256 gigabit jump drive and plugged it into the back of the Arlo server for local storage. I also bought a backup power supply and plugged the router and Arlo server into it. I have one camera plugged in to an outlet and I've subscribed that camera to CVR. What other features did I not utilize? Or what other creative features did you utilize to help maximize the system?

I think you've got it. You could subscribe to a paid plan so videos stay in the library for a longer time but you can just use the video backups on the thumb drive to do the same thing. Of course, you can't just view the videos without ejecting the drive and plugging it into a computer but you've got them stored should you need them. (Be sure to test that procedure so you're familiar with it. Don't just yank the drive out - use the Eject button to preserve the file system.)
