Installed 2 cameras today. At first it was working great. Getting notifications for everything. Tried adjusting settings. Cameras are on the batteries. WiFi is great. Firmware and app up to date. I cannot figure out the motion sensitivity at all. I’ve tried a few settings. I’ll try multiple times on the same setting and it detects random distances. Trying to detect from my front door to side walk. I also don’t get a notice till a few mins later. There’s an icon saying I need to plug my cameras into ac power to adjust zones. Sorry for this being so long. TIA.

Ha - this one is short!
If you haven't already, read the FAQs here on changing motion sensitivity in your modes and rules as well as many other topics. The motion detection test just gives you a number to use in your rules. Note that testing the detection depends on motion across the FOV, not directly at the camera. PIR sensors all have this issue (think motion detection outdoor lights).
Did you subscribe to Arlo Smart? That can delay your notifications since the videos have to be uploaded to the servers for post-processing. If you do have Smart, try deactivating a camera in Settings, Smart Notifications to see if the speed of response is better.
And ignore that icon about zones.
