Does anyone know if you can plug in the Arlo base station into an Orbi satellite or does it have to be plugged into the main router?

Yes it can. I have one base plugged into my router and one each base stations plugged into each satellite for a total of three base stations.

I own a small home, but the signals don't travel well through the walls, so I bought the Orbi system and base stations to give all my cameras a strong signal.
