I have had the pro 2 cameras for several years and didn’t have any issues setting schedules. I recently replaced a ring doorbell with an Arlo Gen 2 and subsequently updated the app. I have been trying to set up the automation for a week and a half and can’t get it to work properly for the cameras. All I want to do is have the cameras working from 6 pm to 7 am every day and then go into standby from 7 am to 6 pm. I’ve followed instructions I’ve found on the Arlo board and nothing works properly. The doorbell works fine as I’ve set it to be active 24/7. I was going to upgrade my cameras to the latest Arlo model, but at this point I’m ready to trash them and go to another brand. Can someone provide me with the correct instructions to set up the schedule I’m wanting for the cameras? Model Pro 2, firmware 1.125.17.1_11_de8490d, hardware H4

So you want

  1. all cameras+doorbell armed between 6 pm and 7 am
  2. only the doorbell armed between 7 am and 6 pm

I am also assuming that you will want to be able to easily keep the cameras armed 24/7 when you are away for an extended period.

The first step is to

  1. check that all cameras and the doorbell are armed in both the "Arm Home" and the "Arm Away" Mode.
  2. modify the "Standby" mode to arm the doorbell.

The mode sections in this article should help you do that.

The next step is to create two schedule automations.

  • One switches to Arm Home at 6 PM but ONLY if the system is already in "Arm Home" or "Standby"
  • The other switches to Standby at 7 am but ONLY if the system is already in "Arm Home" or "Standby"

The reasoning is that you can manually switch to "Arm Away" whenever you want to keep everything armed (no scheduling) until you change the mode back to either "Arm Home" or "Arm Away"

Post 4  here has two screen shots you can use as a guide for the automations

The times aren't the same as what you want, but that is the only thing you need to change.
