Can anyone create an Arlo account and link up to my cameras if they have access to our wifi?

I have outside security cameras in my home. Can anyone create an Arlo account and link up to my cameras if they have access to our wifi and wifi password?

No... tho anyone could create an account, it wouldn’t access your cameras.

When you set up an Arlo account, you put in your email and own password to access.

The base unit creates it’s own WiFi network for the cameras only...only the Q and Baby cam hook into your home WiFi....

So someone who lives in the house can create an account but would not be able to add those cameras on to their own account, even if they have access to the base, same wifi and wifi password?

Your WiFi has nothing to do with Arlo. Arlo uses an account on the Arlo servers to claim the equipment. Only someone with your Arlo account credentials would be able to load the app and see the cameras.
