Arlo Pro 2 - 1080p

Just to clarify, would I still get 1080p recordings if connected to an existing Arlo Solar panel or that is only when connected to a power outlet indoors?

the camera does 1080 on battery ( so yes )

So during the night, the camera goes back to a poor image 720 ?
A trick could be to put a large flexible solar panel sticken around the trunk of a a tree, on the sunny side (south)... with a better battery!
