My camera LED lights are blinking both blue and amber alternatively. I’ve read articles that indicate the camera is updating its firmware. However, when I go to device info, the firmware info is missing. The hardware and serial number is the only thing listed.

How can I resolve this issue?

I have not seen any changes to firmware for a long time so unlikely.

 

Have you tried pulling the camera battery for 10sec to reset it?

Yes, I’ve tried that. The camera has been out of commission since early December. I removed the camera to charge it. Camera was working fine until the orange and blue lights began to flash. Now camera won’t sync or flash a continuous blue light to initiate reconnection.

I don’t recall seeing any fix when this occurs, you’re likely in need of a replacement if you can get a second hand unit.

Second hand unit? Where would I find one? I don’t have an Arlo subscription service. The camera was purchased May 2020 and is no longer under warranty.

The pro2 is no longer manufactured, look at amazon, check reviews first. Best Buy may also have them. eBay is riskier as you don’t know if the camera has been account released for resale.

Any camera model after the pro2 requires a subscription plan to record to the cloud.

My 4 (FOUR !!!) ARLO pro 2 stopped working in the same Time (like within a few weeks). None would sinc again. Batteries are ok as they were powered. If it's not built-in obsolescence i don't know what that IS. 

Non answer from Arlo. This makes me pretty unhappy and i don't know why nobody says anything. There are so many reports on the net. (And it's the last Arlo product wich didn't need a subscribtion to work, what a coïncidence !)

Still no luck trying to sync the Pro 2 Camera to the base station. There is no firmware listed under device info lights constantly blinking blue and amber. Camera doesn’t display blue light when charging. I’ve switched batteries and even tried to remove the housing. I’m not willing to purchase another ARLO product.
