Camera is not charging anymore. Says charging fault and to re-plug in again.

My camera was not taken back to charge. Now, it does it charge any more. I took any camera back to charge. It said the charging faults and asked me to unplug and plug again. Issue continues existing. I suspect the charging cable has problem. Ideas?

It is resolved by using its original charger.

You can try another charger that supports both 5v and 9v outputs such as those used by many newer phones. That should prove whether it's the charger. Hardware problems can be resolved by using your warranty and using the Contact Support link at the bottom here.

Maybe also try the charger with a different outlet.
