What is the best way to use your existing Arlo pro 2 camera to monitor kids room at night? I would like to have a screen in my room where I can live stream the video without doing much on the phone or get an alert when there is audio or movement.
I would prefer a screen something like Echo or google home is possible. Has anyone used the cameras in this scenario?

Tho you can stream the Pro2 to another device ( I use alexa ) there are still limitations in the way you intend to use them.
The main issue is that most of the Arlo cameras have a built in coding (software) that will shut down the viewing after 30 mins. This was built in to eliminate the possibility that one would leave the camera streaming and fully drain the battery.
One of the few cameras that do not shut down is the arlo Baby. ( Q also have a longer streaming but not sure of its duration nowdays )
Of course you can always view an event to like a Kindle when there is movement/audio trigger as you mentioned
Morse is faster than texting!
