My VMS4230P-100EUS Arlo cameras lasted 6 weeks when I first took them out of the box. I have them set on battery saver mode. On recharging them for 14hours they have lasted just 4 days! They are set to motion detection and trigger approximately 10 times a day so not excessive use at all! Are they faulty and just need to be returned?

Spec battery life is based on <5 minutes per day of total recording and live viewing. Add up your recording times and how much live viewing time you're using. If under 5 minutes total, try rebooting the base and remove one camera from Settings, My Devices and resync. Make sure all firmware is up to date.
BTW, recharging should take less than 3 hours.
