My Arlo Pro 2 three camera system is approximately 18months old. The battery life recently has reduced from two months to two days. I have one camera connected to an Arlo solar panel, and the battery in this camera also drains flats if there are two consecutive cloudy days.
Why has the battery life suddenly degraded to such an extent that the batteries now spend more time on the charger than on the wall?

As you say , if the one with the solar panel is draining fast, is it possible the panel is defective and draining the battery?...
Only way to know is to charge up the battery and use same without the solar panel for a temp test.
If NG, then I would open camera pull battery, replace battery then remove camera and bring back as if new.
