I had one of my alto base station alarms randomly trigger the other day. This is a system that has been set up for years with no changes to setting of any kind. Power cycled and everything went back to normal. Only possible outcome.
1. I was hack.
2. Hardware software glitch.

I think hardware or software glitch is more likely with the device authentication that is implemented it would take both my Arlo and email both to be comprised.
With this conclusion I removed the speaker. I can't risk traumaize my pets with the risk of this going off all day while I am gone. I will also be doing this to all my family and friends stations that have pets as well. It's too loud and painful to risk putting animals through that. I have setup close to 10 Arlo systems and this is the first I have had this issue but even once is too much.
