So I have Arlo base station in my house which is a large one level. I also have a shop beside house I would like to put cameras in. The Arlo base station is too far away from shop to receive cameras in shop. My question is do I just get another base station for shop? Next question is if I do that can I just set it up all under one account or do I have to pay for 2? Or is there another solution I am missing?

Yes. Though you do need to get ethernet to the base station. That can be done with a wifi extender if the shop is getting good wifi from your normal router. Or perhaps use powerline networking if the shop is powered from the main circuit box in the house.
If the shop is right next to the house, then you could also put the second base in an adjacent room in the house.

One account.

Some newer cameras (Pro 4, Essential) can connect directly to your home wifi. That of course does require good wifi reception in the shop.
