I just purchased a Camera replace my original Arlo. It will not connect to my Wi-Fi. It says invalid password. My Wi-Fi password has been the same for 10 years. I am wondering is it possibly looking for the previous owners password? If so, how do I clear that password?

The Pro2 cameras do not connect to your wifi.... they connect only to the base unit ( which makes a wifi network for cameras only )
All you do is SYNC the camera to your existing base via app or web access
Also the Pro/Pro2 can do a direct sync with out app by just hitting the sync button on base and then while within 3 ft or so press the camera sync button ( but recommended to use the app )
Morse is faster than texting!

I suspect it's not a Pro 2. Can you confirm the camera model? If there is a user-replaceable battery, then open the housing, remove the battery and look at the label.
If there isn't, then you likely have an Essential or an Essential Spotlight. Look on the front, and see if there is a spotlight there. You can also look on the bottom (on the rubber seal) - there should be a product id printed there, though it can be hard to see.

When you add the camera with add device, are you selecting the Pro 2?
As posted above, the Pro 2 only connects to an Arlo base/smarthub. It won't connect to your home wifi, and you shouldn't be prompted for a wifi password when you select the Pro 2.

It keeps giving me a message that it is an invalid password. Every device that I own is connected to Wi-Fi with the same password. It is only invalid for Arlo.

The Pro 2 connects only to an Arlo base/smarthub. You can't connect it to your home wifi network.
Do you have a base or smarthub? If so, which one?

It seems to me that @Pattycake is trying to connect the base to WiFi as well as trying to log into the base itself.
The base connects to your router using the Ethernet cable, not WiFi. That cable will allow the base to access the Internet. The base also generates its own dedicated WiFi network that only the cameras can connect to. If you try to log into the base, you won't be able to since the password is unknown for security reasons.
Thus, the base should have power and the Ethernet cable connected as directed. At that point the power and Internet LEDs should be green. The Camera LED should be off or solid amber. Use the app to claim the base and then you can add the cameras to the base. No passwords are needed.

Maybe. Though possibly @Pattycake purchased a Pro 2 camera w/o a base.
Either way, we need more precise information on exactly what @Pattycake is doing.
