Arlo pro 2 keeps going offline, only records for 20 seconds on some occasion, battery drain

Hi..

We’ve having problems with the arlo pro 2

1) it keeps going off line
2) once set to record for 2min it’ll randomly only record for 20secs on some occasions
3)the battery life will only last for 2weeks max

Would you say the camera is faulty? And replace it? Or are these common problems?

It tends to sound like it's the camera position relative to the base that may be the issue. What is the WiFi strength shown for the camera? Hw many walls and floors does the signal have to pass through in a straight line? Are there things like mirrors and ductwork that could be blocking the signal? What is the house construction, especially the exterior wlls if the camera is mounted outdoors? Have you tried moving the camera to a different location and/or near the base to test?

It's possible that the camera is bad but we need to know more first.
