i just purchased my first Arlo Pro 2 unit after hearing such great reviews.  Some of the features for this camera are unavailabe unless the unit is plugged in. Can anyone tell me if using a solar panel would be considered a constant power source and allow those features to be used?

No it will not. To get constant recording it will need ac power
