Set up the Arlo Pro 2, updated the firmware for the base and cameras.
Set one camera next to the window pointed outside which is currently night time.
Checked out the image on the web page and all that is visible is the glow from the camera on the window and the window screen. Basically there is about 3 inches of visibility which makes the camera useless for night time.
I attempted to adjust the brightness but that only affects the glare and does nothing for visibility past the screen.
Any recommendations on adjustments?

IR light does not pass through glass, so the night vision will not work with the camera indoors. You would have the same issue with any camera with built-in IR.
You need to put the camera outside, or you need to provide supplemental lighting outside and turn off night vision on the camera.

As above, the camera is designed to be placed outdoors. If it is put indoors, the PIR motion detection will not work. If you use another camera to trigger this camera to record, you will need to turn off the "Night Vision" IR illuminators as they will reflect off the glass and you won't see anything. If you do point it through glass, it's best to be hard up against the glass to minimise other reflections. But again, its design it to be used outdoors with a clear line of sight
