We are in a 55+ community and we are considering using the Arlo pro cameras for our surveillance purposes. For instance, we want to use the Arlo pro where we want to monitor activities in our lounge and need to record events that may last up to 2 hours to ensure that there is no thefts or damages.
My question is as follows:
Can the camera record multiple sections of 2 minutes one after the other triggered by motion ?.. Since it can only record continuously for a max of 2mins, will it re-trigger the recording of the subsequents 2 minutes and effectively record a full 2 hours admitedly with gaps of a few seconds in between ?...
Thank you for your advice.
Boris.

Yes, it will do that if there is enough motion or audio to trigger the recording.

My suggestion would be a Q camera with the CVR option. That way you can get recordings up to 5 minutes long (with the Record Until Motion Stops setting) as well as the ability to use CVR to review the whole stream for what happened after the fact.
