I have an Arlo Pro hub with 2 Arlo Pro cameras that I've had for several years. (I can't remember when I bought them.). I'm thinking of adding a 3rd camera. Does it have to be an Arlo Pro? I haven't looked extensively yet, but didn't find any new ones for sale.

Or, can I add an Arlo Pro 2/3/4/5 connected to the same hub? Or any other Arlo cameras? Will I still get the free 7-day cloud storage if I get one of the newer cameras? That works really well for me and so far I've never had a need to go back more than a day or two.

Guessing with the Pro2 cameras you have a 4000 or newer base unit.

(tho it may be a 3000 or 3500 as you posted in a pro2 section but state pro cameras )

Yes, many of the newer cameras will link to a base unit as you were thinking. BUT, the newer cameras require subscriptions so you will no longer have the 7 days for free with these.
