Hi Guys,

Have had Arlo since circa 2017...have PRO 2 version. Just returned from vacation and ALL 4 camera's had stopped detecting motion so WOULD NOT record. All other functions were perfect, remote monitoring, manual recording etc etc.

Now, we had had a power cut whilst away...just a glitch less than 1 second. (I know this because my LED lights are affected by EMI, Electromagnetic Interference, and always come on after a  mains drop out no matter how short).

I "removed" one camera and added it back with the sync feature. Presto! ALL cameras started recording again.

Bottom line is that it is highly likely that the devices are susceptible to the good ol EMC test "Voltage dips and Interruptions".

This may help someone out their...

ALL the best

Several users have reported this recently, so I am guessing something happened in the Arlo Cloud with some accounts (and not EMI).  Arlo mods have been resolving the problem on their end, which has the advantage of not requiring people to take down their cameras, and eliminates the friction that sometimes happens when you try to re-add a camera to the account.

So if this is happening on your system, I suggest tagging the mods - @BrookeN , @JamesC , @ShayneS - to call their attention to your issue.
