Arlo Pro Base Station (VMB 4000) does not stay connected and drops out

My arlo base station will not stay connected. The center light is solid orange. Some times it will connect but then it will drop right out.

That can be due to a bad port on the router or base or a bad cable. Swap cables and use a different router port. Also, reboot both the base and your router.
