My Arlo pro 2 cam, now about 3 years old has stopped working properly . The camera goes offline regularly after having worked for about 2 years . When I bring it inside, charge and resync it works but battery discharges almost completely within a day. So I bought a new Arlo battery and same thing still happens. Already disconnected and resynced without improvement. Is the camera broken ?

It would seem so. You may be able to continue to use it by adding the outdoor AC charger.

You may want to also check for an arlo firmware bug that causes the pro2 cameras to often continue streaming after a trigger event.
This results in the battery quickly discharging.
To see if this is occurring you will need to monitor the devices page of the app for the motion trigger icon that remains amber after the recording has been uploaded to the cloud library.
To end the streaming condition you will have to turn the camera off and on again in the camera settings.
There is no workaround so far to prevent it recurring.
