Anyone else have their Arlo Pro 2 suddenly stop working?
I have 2 that just stopped working, one that’s outside and one that’s inside.
I put in fully-charged batteries that work in my other cameras and the camera flashes blue for about 5 seconds then no response!
I’ve deleted the cameras and now I can’t reinstall the 2 cameras.
I’ve tried holding the sync button for 30+ seconds, as well as plugging them into a wall charger, but nothing works.
All the other cameras work just great.
Thanks in advance.

Only briefly press the base sync button - don't hold it for 2 seconds (or more!). The flashing LED on the base indicates it's searching. Then press the camera sync button.

The cameras momentarily light up blue, with a charged battery, but won’t sync.

Same here. Three Arlo Pro 2 cameras stopped working, they're stuck on "Connecting...".
All 3 show that they are fully charged and with a great signal.
One inside, had to remove from my account, add and sync with the base again. This has fixed just one camera.
For the other two, I can still turn them on/off in the settings etc. but just can't see any video from them and they don't record anything at all, so pretty much useless. They are outside and 8m high, in an unreachable place, so I can't just remove them from my account and take them down to sync them with the base like with the first one.
It's very annoying. What has happened? It was working OK for a couple of months and now it's completely useless. My impression is that it's just a bad and unreliable system and I'm sorry I fell for buying Arlo in a seemingly good deal.

Well, in my case, I have contacted Arlo Support and they were very helpful.
Nevertheless, they did not solve the problem.
They advised that the only way to fix it is to remove the cameras from my account and re-add them again, which means taking them down (I have them installed 8m high in an unreachable place), removing a battery and physically pressing the Sync button on them and on the base unit to get them back into my account.
I think this is a ridiculous flaw in the system, because I can still control the cameras remotely via the Arlo app settings, they just don't connect to the base unit for some unknown reason, I can't view the live stream and they don't record anything whatsoever. They are useless.
It is very annoying, because I don't have a way to reach them. I don't have 8m tall ladder now and can't rent any because of the Covid lockdown. But it let me thinking - let's say I go on holidays and this would happen. It just makes the whole security system completely useless and I will definitely avoid Arlo in the future and will advise everyone around me to never buy it.
