I've read about what friends can do when access is shared with them and when extra access rights are granted to them.
However I just need someone to confirm or deny that friends who have access will not need to know my Arlo account userid and password, nor will they have any ability to change the password.
Thanks for your help.

When you use the grant access option through the application, it'll send an invite to the e-mail address you provide. The person will then need to create their own login and can then only access the items you allowed them to see in the grant dialog.
