Arlo Pro 2 only picks 20% of motion. Motion sensitivity is set to 100% and battery drains.

Hi,

I have the Arlo pro 2, 3 camera system. I live on a main road and only want to pick up approximately 20% of the motion. My camera's wont support this and continue to pick up as if the cameras are set to 100% which in turn drains my batteries every 3-4 days. I have tried setting the motion detection to 1% and it still picks up as if it is 100%.

I have also tried deleting the camera from the base station and re-syncing and it still does not work.

Any help is much appreciated.

Positioning is key. Rotate the camera so the street isn't in view - concentrate on the door/sidewalk/driveway where people would walk. ALso make sure you're setting the sensitivity in your modes and rules, not in the motion detection test.
