I have the app installed on both my Chromebook and a Chromebox. It works fine on the Chromebook, but the app on the Chromebox says "No internet connection".

The only obvious difference between the two is that the Chromebook connects to the network via my Wi-Fi and the Chromebox has a direct RJ-45 connection to my network switch.

It's sort of like the app doesn't check for a connection on hard-wired connections.

Is it possible that the chromebox is blocking ports that the arlo app needs?
Does the chromebox require permission for the app to be used?

Perhaps check that the app is allowed to access the local network in the app (or system) settings.

Does the web browser allow you access (my.arlo.com)?

Network isn't one of the available permissions. Location, Camera, Microphone, Contacts & storage are the available permissions. I currently have Location and Storage turned on.

Yes, I can use a web-browser, but then that forces 2-factor authentication.
