I recently upgraded to the Ultra and had some time to play around with the Pro 2 base station. Long story short, if you have a laptop with WiFi and Ethernet adapter, you can share the wifi to the Ethernet port and send the signal to the base station as if it was plugged in to a router.
You may ask why one would do this...we are going on vacation and bringing our dogs with us. The VRBO only has wifi and I still wanted to be able to keep an eye on things if we had to leave them in their crates for a little while.

Good find. However, a WiFi extender will do the same thing.
