Arlo Pro 2 family not able to see cameras after giving them access

The new account will show "Feed" and "Dashboard" in the app menu, and not "Library".

If the existing account shows "Library", then it needs to be migrated to "Feed".  You do that by going into "add device" and selecting the Pro 5s camera.  That process can't be finished, since you don't have the camera - but it will migrate the account to "Feed" before you get stuck.

 

But there are downsides to "Feed":

  • There are no custom modes.   You can modify the three built-in modes, but you cannot add new ones
  • The combination of geofencing+scheduling doesn't quite work (particularly "arrive").

 

Another path is to have the family use the same account you are using on your phone.  Arlo used to enforce only one login at a time for the account, but they stopped doing that some months ago.

I am having the same problem with viewing on my desktop. My main browser is Firefox, I have tried on all browser  Chrome worked for one day only. Microsoft does not work. I have been all over this site looking for answer's. We have rebooted our router still does not work, I have not been able to access on desktop since middle of November does anyone have a solution for this? We have people coming on our property that don't belong there. We brought these cameras in 2017 never have had any problems with them, they are still recording as I can see them on my phone. I need to also delete some days and I do this on my desktop. Arlo Pro 2. I do not know where to find firmware. OS-is windows 10.  I have even tried typing in my.arlo.com/#/cameras   brings me to sign in page, I sign in to the portal and it says The request has timed out. Again any help would be greatly appreciated.

When granting access make sure all users are on the same firmware and app version. For not being able to log into a web browser can you try deleting the cache and cookies and then trying again? I also suggest maybe changing the password and then try logging in.
