I bought two Arlo pro 2 cameras to add to my system. I have 2 usb drives in my base station to record as a back up. When i pull up the app to look at the 7 day history of the Pro 2 cameras it says i have recordings, but i cant watch any of them on my mobile device.(Do record on USB) My standard pro cameras still give me the 7 days of recording. I was told i would be able to use the pro 2 cameras just like the original ones and i would not have to pay for a subscription. Was i lied to by Arlo? or just to dumb to figure this out?

Pro2 cameras do include 7 days of cloud recording. But you can only have 5 cameras total in the account that get the free recording.
Local recording on the VMB3500 base is only for backup purposes. You can eject the drives and then view the recordings on a PC. You can't see them in the app or web client.
